About this cabin
Welcome to this modern detached log cabin, completed in 2025 and located in the peaceful Kantalehto area of Pyhä. With cross-country ski trails only 20 meters away, the cabin offers an excellent base for skiing, hiking, and exploring the beautiful nature of Finnish Lapland throughout the year. Designed with comfort and practicality in mind, it is especially well suited for families and small groups.
The cabin offers 87 m² of living space (60 m² plus a 27 m² loft) and accommodates up to seven guests. The ground-floor bedroom sleeps two guests, while the 160 cm high loft features three fixed beds and an additional 140 cm wide bed in the lower section. The living room sofa can also be converted into two separate spring mattress beds when needed.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and electric hand mixer. Additional amenities include a washing machine, drying cabinet, Wi-Fi, television, hairdryer, and a cozy fireplace with firewood included. The sauna features both an electric heater and a traditional wood-burning stove, and the cabin has two toilets, one of which is located next to the washroom.
Families with children will appreciate the stair gates at both ends of the loft staircase, along with a potty and child's booster seat. Guests also have access to a semi-heated ski maintenance room equipped with a waxing bench, waxing iron, and workbench. An EV charging point is included in the rental, and the rear terrace features two long benches for outdoor dining and relaxing. The neighboring Sarastus log cabin has an identical layout, making the two cabins an ideal choice for larger groups travelling together.
