The name Jänkäkolo refers to a sheltered hideaway in the Lapland wilderness, perfectly reflecting the warm and relaxing atmosphere of this welcoming cabin. Refreshed with new furnishings and equipment in 2026, it provides a comfortable retreat for holidays throughout the year.

The cabin comfortably accommodates up to six guests. There are two bedrooms, each furnished with a 160 cm double bed, while the loft and the sofa bed in the living room provide additional sleeping space. The practical layout makes the cabin equally suitable for families, couples, and groups of friends.

The spacious living room is the perfect place to gather after a day outdoors, while the private electric sauna offers a relaxing way to end the day. Step out onto the private terrace after your sauna and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Finnish Lapland.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. In spring 2026, the cabin was updated with new bedding, tableware, a dining table, a 32-inch television, a new king-size bed in the downstairs bedroom, terrace furniture, and a hairdryer. Plenty of storage space is available for skis, snowboards, and outdoor equipment.
