Ice Karting in Pyhä

Ready, set, go! Put pedal to the metal and speed into the snow and ice! Close to Pyhätunturi, in the Pyhä Safari’s Ice Karting track, it’s possible to speed along an icy track and race against your friends for the championship of the Ice Karting. Ice Karting is very similar to ordinary karting, but the go-karts for Ice Karting are equipped with studded tires and a studier body to fit the extreme conditions of the winter.

All the Ice Karting drivers must be at least 15 years old, and there has to be at least four people in the group. On Thursdays’ and Saturdays’ weekly programmes it’s possible for smaller groups to attend the race

During your karting-experience, first you’ll get a chance to warm up and test the go-kart with a teacher, and after the short teaching session it’s time for the qualification run and the karting race itself. The best drives will be rewarded with medals! You may book for your group either an hour-long ice karting race, or an hour-and-a-half long pro-competition, which includes two starts and a snack with hot drink. Both driving experiences include all the appropriate driving gear and a snowmobile ride to the ice track.
