For every visitor Luosto offers a choice of different activities or just silence in the beautiful nature. Luosto has a wide, high quality ski trail network, superb ski slopes, possibility for visits in the world-famous Lampivaara Amethyst mine, a beautiful spa, plus many other attractions you may enjoy. It’s worth to visit Luosto all seasons.

Luosto offers activities round the year. Its four seasons differ dramatically from each other; from freezing winter with plenty of snow and “magic” blue darkness, to the amazing summer with midnight sun and sometimes tropic high temperatures close to +30 C. Spring time (March-April) offers mild temperatures and excellent skiing conditions. During the fall, when the summer gives up to the autumn, the whole area turns to a colorful play of the nature called “Ruska”.

Our atmospheric log cabin is situated in a silent place approximately 6 km from Luosto Ski Center towards Sodankylä, known for its Midnight Sun Film Festival. A store, restaurants and other services are situated in Luosto Ski Center and in Sodankylä approximately 25 km from the cabin.

The Swan Cabin in a nutshell:

• Sleeps 8 persons maximum
• Two bedrooms (for max four people)

• Ski track from behind the cabin
• Electrical heating radiators in all rooms, gold and hot tap water (drinkable)
  

Swan Cabin Joutsen is located only 7 kilometres away from Luosto Ski Centre and about 30 kilometres away from Pyhä Ski Centre. Kilpisenvaara easy ski track is about 200 metres away.

Different pricing depending on the season:

High season (weeks 8 ja 9, Christmas, New Year, Easter): 900-1100 €/week

Winter season (weeks 10-16) 900 € /week

Other (weeks 2-7 ja 17): 700 € /week

Check-in is at 4 pm

If you have purchased a final cleaning, the check-out is at 10 am. Otherwise it's at 11 am

Some frequently asked questions:

Do I need my own bed linen?
Yes. If you do not have your own bed linen and towels, we can provide them for a fee of 23 euros per person per stay. Please pre-book the bed linen and towels, otherwise we cannot promise availability.

Do I need to clean the apartment?
Yes. If you do not clean the apartment upon check-out you will be charged a cleaning fee of 90 euros. Upon cleaning the apartment, you must also take out the trash. Cleaning supplies are provided.

If you do not wish to clean the apartment, you can purchase final cleaning from our customer service for 70 euros. It would be helpful to pre-book final cleaning services.

When is check-in?
Latest at 16:00, most of the time we can guarantee 15:00 check-in, and you can always bring your luggage already earlier.

When is check-out?
At 10:00 am, if you've purchased a final cleaning. If you do the cleaning by yourself, the check-out is at 11 am. Please remember to leave your key in the keybox.

How do I check-in?
Enter the passcode to the lockbox, you will get the key. Lockbox is located next to the door. Please remember to put the key to the same lockbox upon check-out.

Do I have a private sauna and toilet?
Yes.


Can I rent a hot tub and place it on the yard of my cottage? Yes, you may rent it from an outsider rental service (independently). Because of the extra wood and water consumption, renting a hot tub costs 50 euros. You have to always inform us if you're planning on getting a hot tub.
